Marston Magna Ammonites 
(Promicroceras Planicosta) in mass mortality.

Approximately 12 complete Ammonites, numerous partials and negatives.  The back of the plate is polished to reveal Ammonites in cross section. 

Ammonites from this location are considered quite rare now.

Age: Jurassic, 200 million years old, Lower Lias, Obtusum Zone
